Where to start on the report? In glancing across the intertubes it's always tough to feel like when people are running really fast, I'm at my slowest, but that could probably change if we had some weather where I wasn't pooring sweat within minutes of starting. It's an interesting case study seeing who seems to manage training in the heat and who doesn't. Take the interesting case of Jerry's kids, who is well on his way to running a 2:19, I believe. The workouts are there, if he would only concern himself with some specific fuel depletion runs I think he has it, despite training through an Oklahoma summer. For me, I'm going to bide my time and see what happens when I feel capable to sustain a steady pace for more than 20 minutes. With any luck, it will be the first summer I've completed in quite some time where I haven't sustained a significant injury.
