I'll get to a much more detailed rundown of my vacation time to Colorado and Neuvo Mexico but I'm lazy just now so we'll go with a rundown of the training since being back in triple digit heat and swamp-fest humidity. On a side note, I am going to note that it felt easier running at 9,000+ feet of altitude than in the weather of the Sooner state so when it cools off here... who knows what's possible. Thursday I tried to do a 6 mile progression but it was tough. Ran 33:50 with like a 6:00 first mile and 5:20 last on the 3 mile Chatacqua > Berry loop. Tough and I couldn't pee until mid afternoon (badly dehydrated). Did hit up Louie's for beers where we saw lots of very badly behaving 30-somethings and Bobby Stoops.
